The seaborne bottling plant is a new and extremely efficient concept in the delivery of bottled water.
The vessel is about the size of a large cruise ship: 105,000 tons, 50 meters wide and 217 meters long.
It has all the storage, manufacturing, and materials handling capability to deliver 75.000 tons of bottled beverages in one trip.
Previously wasted energy from engines will be recycled for the bottling production on board. That task is a part of the project that makes it possible to export bottled water overseas with an a lower cost than ever before. At the same time it is important to approach the solution with minimum environmental impact and in peace with the nature.
To use as little fuel as possible, the factory Vessel will have solar sell on the sail, which will capture solar energy. The sail will also capture wind and that wind energy will lower the use of fuel. All previously wasted energy e.g. exhaust and cooling water from the engine will be used for the production line, and for other applications on board.
